6 Cool Photoshop Actions to enhance your photography and digital art

These Photoshop Actions are outstanding with dark images and subjects on black backgrounds with high contrast, however they work well with normal photos specially if you darken them a bit before playing one of the Actions.
Perfect for any type of photo or image between 800 and 3000 pixels: the starting Resolution will influence the final outcome so you may want to increase the image size if you need to apply the effect on a small image (inferior to 800 pixels)
You can decide manually where to apply the effect and modify the final outcome as you like. The final effect is on a separate Folder in the Layers Panel, just by Duplicating that and changing its Blending Mode you will find other cool color combinations
How do I combine actions?
1. Run the first action on your photo.
2. Save your image in a new document
3. Now re-open your image and run another action

Easy to use and Edit

1. Open any image into Photoshop
2. Install "lights.abr" and "Burst of Light.atn" (just Double Click on them)
3. Open WIndow > Actions
4. Play "Preparation" Action and paint with a brush on the Layer Mask of your image: the painted area will be where the effect is applied (you will see the standard background through the painted areas)
5. (Recommended) Create a new Snapshot (is at the bottom, a little camera icon in the History Panel) it will save the current status wich is your image with the Layer Mask that you just painted: this way you can quickly go back to this stage and play another Action, without having to remake the Layer Mask.
6. Play one of the Actions provided

By going back to the Snapshot created at step 4 you can quickly apply different Actions to the same Layer Mask that you prepared, or change the Layer Mask that you made and reapply the effect to see the difference.
